This June, Harrison Gardner celebrates 20 years with ARDEX. Harrison started his career at ARDEX in the Marketing Team at ARDEX UK. He was charged with developing the marketing function and building a team to support the growing business. Extra responsibility soon followed with an expanded role to include leading customer service and following the completion of key new segment launches for floor covering adhesives and resin flooring, a place on the ARDEX UK Management Team.
In 2008 Harrison moved to a new challenge as Business Development Director in the UK business, where he built a team focused on specialist channels, major projects/specifications and market development for key product segments.
Harrison joined the ARDEX Americas Team at the end of 2011 to head up one of the largest investment programs in the history of the ARDEX Group as Tile and Stone Installation Systems Business Manager, working with the local teams to develop an ARDEX tiling business in the key Americas markets of USA, Canada and Latin America. Key successes and developments so far have included the building of a brand new West Coast plant alongside upgrades to 4 other existing manufacturing facilities. Nearly 50 people have been recruited across Sales, Technical, Operations, Customer Service and Marketing to support the rapidly growing ARDEX tile business. Many innovations from around the ARDEX Group have been introduced to the Americas over the last four years including most recently FLEXBONE® uncoupling systems, strengthening ARDEX’s position as the innovation leader in the Americas tiling segment.
June 4, 2016 marks Elaine Monterde’s 15 year anniversary with ARDEX Americas. Elaine started her career with WW Henry in June 2001 as the Human Resources and Office Coordinator for our Dallas, GA manufacturing team. Elaine’s prior HR experience with Coca Cola Enterprises helped her quickly transition into our organization. Over the years Elaine has provided support in areas beyond HR. She participates in our plant safety processes from an improvement and compliance standpoint. She has helped us transition through a number of business enterprise systems and currently manages accurate production reporting through our SAP systems. She handles the purchasing of safety, lab and maintenance related items for the GA plant team . Elaine handles her HR responsibilities with professionalism and is always willing to learn new processes that support the organization.
June 11, marks Joe Lafond’s 15 year anniversary with ARDEX Americas at the W.W. Henry Company. He began in the WW Henry shipping department but quickly moved up to Process Technician. Joe coordinates batches with R&D and communicates batch schedules with batch makers. He is always busy with new formulas, maintaining batch quality, as well as assisting with plant safety. He also manages the rework and assists with handling customer complaints.
June 11, marks Alan Mifflin’s 15 year anniversary with ARDEX Americas at the W. W. Henry Company in Bourbonnais . Alan is a fast paced worker who has no problem helping anyone or getting odd jobs done. He always remains busy and has no problem staying to help no matter what area or job he may have to do. Alan is an off loader who must keep up with recording and putting away all production even if that is a day that produces well over 100 pallets of assorted items. Alan has also helped in production and worked in shipping.
